What: |
Quad
City Air Show Flight Operations personnel will direct you where to
park and how to enter the air show grounds.
Remember,
runway 3/21 is closed, therefore you must use 15/33 for all
aircraft operations in/out of Davenport.
Please
check current NOTAMS for closure times of airspace around
Davenport.
There is no
aircraft parking fee.
You can
purchase tickets from the parking people or use the tickets you
purchased in advanced
Plan to
arrive: (these
are unofficial guesses for now and you MUST use the official
NOTAMs posted the day of the show for actual procedures)
-- Friday --
Closed between 1400L and 1600L, MAYBE!!
(CHECK NOTAMS!)-- Saturday
and Sunday -- Closed between 1030 and 1900L -- BUT, once the show
is over, the field will open. We block out the entire day so
if weather delays the show, we can still get it all in. So,
again CHECK NOTAMS! |

All
pilots use caution!! Davenport Airport is located on the Northwestern
Edge of Moline, IL (MLI) Quad City Airport Class "C"
airspace, please remain clear of MLI Airspace at all times
unless you are in contact with them. Do not pass
through their airspace without first receiving permission. (A rule
of thumb - Do not cross the river, without calling MLI-ATC). |
